Open Material Platform

The QLS230 now includes 10 certified nylon powders, including a variety of Polyamides, PP, PBT, and TPU, as well as the proprietary metal powders from headmade materials®, in addition to taking recycled powder from HP and EOS.

Intuitive Software

QLS230 is powered by two advanced software suites, Buildware, and XYZprint AM^SLS. Buildware controls the sintering process while the XYZprint AM^SLS allows users to start and monitor jobs remotely.

Cold Metal Fusion Compatible

The revolutionary Cold Metal Fusion technique by headmade materials® combines the benefits of quick cycle sintering with well-known powder metallurgy procedures to produce titanium and steel components. The QLS230 creates ‘green’ components in a low-temperature processing environment using a metal powder with a polymer coating. The residual polymer is subsequently burned off and the metal particles are fused together during a further debinding and sintering procedure to create the final metal components.
